Stay requests and occupancy
For holiday lets and lodging units: the assistant takes booking requests, and you approve or decline each one.
Turn on Stay requests in Capabilities, and Occupancy appears.
Setting up
In Your units, mark which items in your knowledge are lodging units. For each unit: Open for bookings, up to 8 photos (the first is the cover, and appears in the guest's message), a link to the unit's page, nightly and weekend prices, minimum nights, maximum guests, and check-in and check-out times.
How bookings come in: Request to approve, or Instant. Instant works only once every unit's calendar is connected to the board.
When a request comes in
- You get an email with approve and decline buttons, and a reminder after two hours (not between 21:00 and 08:00).
- Approve, Decline, Decline with an offer, or Move to another unit. When you approve or decline, the guest is told. Moving to another unit doesn't message them.
- A request nobody decides on expires after 24 hours, and the guest is told it wasn't confirmed, so the nights aren't held.
- A pending request doesn't hold the nights.
Good to know:
- The guest gets messages only if they agreed to them on the call.
- Cancelling a confirmed booking doesn't message the guest.
- A booking you enter by hand is saved as confirmed, and nobody is messaged.
