Voice, greeting and call length
Choose a voice, language, tone and pace, write the greeting, and set how long a call lasts.
In Settings → Voice & greeting:
- Language: the assistant's main language. It still answers in the language it's spoken to in.
- Voice: Change voice, with samples to listen to. Note: the voice's name is the name callers hear. If the greeting still says the old name, you're offered a swap.
- Tone: friendly, professional, casual, expert or humorous.
- Speaking pace: slow, normal or fast.
- Greeting: what callers hear first. Best kept short, up to about 8 seconds, ending with a question. Without one, a short default line is said.
- Greet known callers by name (phone): the assistant recognises a customer who called before and greets them by name. You can also write the line they hear. It starts off for clinics, therapists and lawyers: someone calling from the client's phone won't hear the client's name.
- Call length: 3, 5 or 10 minutes. The default: 5 minutes. About half a minute before the end the assistant wraps up and says goodbye.
After any change, tap Listen, or talk to the assistant on a test call.
